Lakehead University Orillia – Research and Innovation Week

Are you a business owner, hiring manager, or Lakehead alumni located in Orillia or surrounding communities? This event is intended to help soon-to-be graduates explore their options right here in Orillia and Simcoe County. Light refreshments will be provided – and space is limited. The event has three parts – an optional professional development lecture on AI and the future of connectivity (4:30-5:30pm),  an information session for International students (5:00-6:00pm) and speed networking with both international and domestic students (6:00-7:30pm).

AGENDA: 

4:00-5:30 – Employers & Partners are invited to attend a public lecture on Accessibility in Wireless Technologies and AI as part of Research & Innovation Week, featuring Lakehead faculty
5:00-6:00 – International students will learn about supports available to them upon graduation. 
6:00-6:30 – Arrival and Registration for Seeking Employers Speed Networking events (all students and employer partners)
6:30-7:30 – Speed Networking: Seeking Employers event.

The networking portion of this event is offered by Lakehead University in partnership with City of Orillia Economic Development and the County of Simcoe.
