Manufacturing Innovation Summit

The 2023 Manufacturing Innovation Summit is for all manufacturers at any stage and at any size.

Invest Barrie and the County of Simcoe have joined forces on the 2023 Manufacturing Innovation Summit, a dynamic 2-day event celebrating manufacturing across the region. Recent years have highlighted the need for innovation in all sectors, and manufacturing is no exception. Process improvements, supply chain management enhancements, and investments in information technology and automation have all played critical role in advancing the manufacturing sector. This year’s Manufacturing Innovation Summit is designed for the regional manufacturing community to learn, connect and get inspired for what’s next in the sector.

Day 1
Location: Georgian College’s Peter B. Moore Advanced Technology Centre, 1 Georgian Drive

Day 1 kicks off with a networking reception, expert talk, panel discussion, and a tour of the worldclass Alectra Centre for Research, Innovation, and Commercialization at Georgian College. The tour will showcase local industry partnerships and allow participants to hear firsthand how research and development projects through Georgian College and Lakehead University have supported local businesses in remaining competitive in an evolving sector.

Day 2
Location: Horseshoe Resort, 1101 Horseshoe Valley Road West

Day 2 provides B2B networking opportunities through a regional manufacturing exhibition, along with an inspiring keynote speech and practical breakout sessions led by industry leaders.
