National Research Council Canada


The National Research Council Canada (NRC) assists the business community in finding solutions to complex R&D problems for both Canadian and global markets. Their scientists, engineers and business experts work closely with thousands of Canadian firms, helping them bring new technologies to market. They offer support, facilities for product development, and financial assistance. They provide funding to support commercialization activities as well as for the hiring of skilled graduates.

Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada


Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) works with companies to help them find high-qualified people, advance their research and development (R&D) efforts, and build beneficial relationships through a suite of targeted partnership programs. NSERC offers a number of grants that support R&D activities, particularly those in partnership with post-secondary institutions. In addition, NSERC awards various NSERC prizes that celebrate outstanding achievements in research excellence.

Natural Resources Canada


Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) designs policies and programs that strengthen the economic impact of the natural resources sector and drives scientific innovation through research and technology development at facilities across Canada. It offers a variety of funding and partnership opportunities.

The Science and Technology (S&T) Internship Program – Green Jobs provides funding to eligible employers across Canada to hire and mentor youth in the natural resources sector, including in energy, forestry, mining, earth science, and clean technology.

The King’s Trust Canada


The King’s Trust Canada is a national charity that creates pathways to employment for young people facing barriers by providing skills training, work experience and networking opportunities.

Strategic Innovation Fund


The Strategic Innovation Fund’s (SIF) objective is to spur innovation for a better Canada by providing funding for large projects and national innovation ecosystems. SIF supports a wide range of large-scale, transformative and collaborative projects across all sectors of the economy and is available to for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. It is managed by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED).

The Canada Cultural Spaces Fund


The Canada Cultural Spaces Fund (CCSF) supports the improvement of physical conditions for arts, heritage culture and creative innovation. The fund supports supports renovation projects, the acquisition of specialized equipment, and planning, design and feasibility studies related to arts and heritage cultural spaces.
