Weldco Beales Manufacturing

Weldco Beales Manufacturing has been designing and making specialized heavy equipment attachments since 1945. Beginning in a small shop in downtown Vancouver, BC, they have grown Canada-wide, including a facility right here in Simcoe County. Weldco sells a comprehensive range of heavy steel products that service a wide array of industries, including: construction, snow removal, forestry, scrap recycling, mining and oil and gas. Products include attachments for excavators, loaders, motor graders, heavy trucks and much more!

​With this extensive history, they have built a solid reputation on coming up with innovative solutions for their customer needs, even if it’s something outside the regular product line. The attachments designed and manufactured here are put to work across the globe – throughout North America, South America and parts of Europe and Asia. Weldco has three manufacturing facilities across Canada, one repair and refurbishment facility in Northern Alberta, and sales offices in the US and Latin America. Their dedicated team of 60 staff in Barrie work in a variety of positions, including: sales account managers, design engineers, machinists, fitters, welders, painters, shippers, general labourers and various administrative staff. 

“We have an amazing track record of retaining our employees, with many long-term team members having dedicated over 30-40 years of service,” said Heather, Marketing Coordinator at Weldco. 

Weldco truly believes in nurturing growth within the company and their own branch is a prime example of this. 

“We have employees in Barrie who have started their careers as a general labourers, then progressively moved on to apprentice in trades, then management positions,” said Heather.
