Creemore Springs Brewery

Three yellow rounds

More in the Making

Steeped in tradition, the beers flowing out of the quaint Village of Creemore are full of character and fresh.

Creemore Springs Brewery opened its’ doors on August 15th, 1987. Founded by John Wiggins, at the age of 57 and faced with health challenges and adversities, he saw possibilities with the village and the spring and started the brewery, which not only put the beer, but a whole village, on the map. The folks that work at the brewery still live those same values of hard work, fresh thinking and being brave today.

“Some of our beers are big and bold, others are smooth and refreshing, but all are made the same Creemore way,” said Stephanie McLarty, Brand Manager at Creemore Springs Brewery.

At Creemore Springs, they fire-brew their beer in small batches in an authentic copper kettle. This gives their beer complexity, balance and flavour. Now add some local spring water, two row barley malt, specialty hops and their proprietary yeast, and the result is something special.

When combined, no other brewer in the world can claim they brew like Creemore.

Their current facility has the future capacity to brew 130,000hL. A variety of different departments work together to make this happen. Creemore employs a team of over 100 folks, many of whom are second generation family members.  Many also have a strong agricultural, family and community mindset.

They recruit for a wide range of employment positions, including brewing, production/packaging, engineering, maintenance, warehouse, distribution, quality assurance, electricians, millwrights, PLC programmers, finance, supply chain, HR/payroll, and marketing and sales (retail/events).
