The County of Simcoe’s Economic Development Office works closely with the region’s post-secondary institutions to help attract and retain post-secondary talent where there is strong alignment with in-demand jobs.
Simcoe County is home to Georgian College, Collège Boréal and Lakehead University.
Over 50% of Simcoe County’s adult population have received post-secondary training.

Lakehead University and Georgian College have partnered to offer joint degree-diploma programs, which allow students to earn both a university degree and a college diploma in four years.
