Canada Council for the Arts

The Canada Council for the Arts offers a range of grants for professional Canadian artists, groups and arts organizations, most principally used for creation, production and presenting works as well as professional development, travel and the advancement of the sector. In addition to its regular grant programs, it also administers a number of strategic funds and initiatives targeted to particular opportunities or issues in the arts sector. Furthermore, the Canada Council for the Arts awards prizes across a broad spectrum of artistic disciplines, recognizing excellence and innovation in the arts.
