The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming supports destination and product development and investment in Ontario’s tourism industry. Funding programs for tourism businesses in Ontario include Experience Ontario and the Marquee Event Program. Experience Ontario is aimed at helping coordinate community festivities across the province whereas the Marquee Event Program is aimed at supporting large-scale festivities with regional impacts and helping bolster Ontario’s overall destination attraction efforts.
